Most of the time, in our minds, "the worst things in life come free to us'
But take this analogy, that you've perhaps heard too many times, but rethink.
A glass half filled, and yet all the same, half empty; yet, how would you perceive it?
For many of us these days, this glass is half empty, which explains why we never seem to be happy with our lives or what we have. Think again -- When was the last time you said thank you when someone helped you with something? Or did you simply moaned in your head when you were tasked to do something?
But it is not just life itself. But people too. People's perspective, a different angle gives us a different view.
Realise how much people these days have conflicts? What for? All I can say is -- they lack to understand, lack to care, but rather their mindset is: I am right. Take, if you put yourself in someone else's shoes, and you felt what they feel, maybe your answer to what happen would be different. Maybe if people did care more about how others feel, and looked at things from other angles, just maybe they would see a different view.
So this is what I'm trying to say here.
Don't look at life on the surface. Sometimes bad things happen for good reasons. It's a good experience for us just so we won't repeat it again.
It's just a bad day. Not a bad life.
And so...
I'd like to look at the glass half filled, rather than being discontented with what I have because I'm a lot more blessed than you think I am.
